Ivy's story
If you come to visit me at the shelter, you're going to think I'm really scary - I snarl, and bite at the kennel gate. But what I'm trying to tell you is that I'm really stressed out here, and so it's hard for me to show my true personality. When I'm scared or I'm stressed I bring out the mean-looking Ivy, and you'll hear me growl, and show my teeth. I need a family who understands fear aggression - because when I trust you, and I feel safe, I'm the sweetest girl in the world (and love to give lots of kisses!). No little kids for me, please - they're unpredictable, and make me feel nervous. But I do love other dogs, and I know that the right people will find me soon.
